We are thrilled with how successful our Hassle Free School Book Fairs have been and we are now able to offer school books fairs to all schools, pre schools and nurseries within Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, and some parts of Wales.
If you are outside of these areas we now have an option that might just suit your school, find out more here!
We offer two types of book fair. Either straight after school for the whole school or we can start earlier in the day which allows children to come in class by class. Depending on the size of the school we can either start this in the morning or straight after lunch. We can be flexible with times so please do get in touch to discuss your schools' requirements.
If you are a larger school 200 pupils plus we recommend starting earlier, this allows all the children a better look without it being too busy, particularly beneficial for KS1 children and those who prefer a calmer shopping experience! Children are welcome to bring money in and purchase when visiting with their class or just to pop in to see what they may like after school.
Once you have booked your book fair we will send you flyers for all your children and posters for you to display. We now also offer digital promotion packs too which can be used in conjunction with the printed flyers or if you are a paper free school these can be emailed out to parents instead of the printed flyers. The digital packs can also be used to advertise your fair via your schools newsletters and social media.
Unless you have specific requests or having an earlier fair we normally arrive for 2-2.30pm depending on the size of your school to set up so we can be open at 3.15pm as the school day ends.
We will bring everything needed for your book fair, books aimed at the correct age range, display boxes, card machine, paper carrier bags etc! We can bring tables but if you are able to provide them that does leave us more space in our vehicle for books! As a guide a standard fair fits nicely on 4 school dinner size tables but we will adapt to the space provided. Weather permitting we are also more than happy to set up outside.
We will then run the book fair and take all payments.
At the end of the event we will calculate how many free books you have earned. You can either redeem them straight away or at later date, there is no time limit for redeeming free books.
