These symbolised books are a valuable literacy resource for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and English as an Additional Language (EAL). Each book features accessible, symbol-supported text designed to improve reading comprehension and engagement.

Every title includes a convenient QR code, allowing children to access the story in both sign language and audiobook format. This multi-sensory approach supports inclusive learning and helps develop communication skills.

The audio feature is especially beneficial for EAL learners and their parents or carers, as it provides clear pronunciation and reinforces language acquisition. Listening to spoken words alongside the text helps build confidence, improve vocabulary, and support early reading development.
